Michael Wolniak, Chief Strategy Officer VML Poland
Founder, Chief Strategy Officer and President of VML Polska, major European division of the VML network advertising agency from the WPP holding. Responsible for the development of marketing strategies in the EMEA and globally. Carries out consulting projects oriented at digitalization of the operation of major enterprises and building up value by the implementation of disruptive innovations.
As of 2001 Michael has been building up a marketing group which comprises among others agencies Heureka, Pride&Glory and Brand Fibres, later transformed into VML. Earlier on he edited top television entertainment shows.
Together with the team Michael won the title of the Interactive Agency of the Year and the Interactive Group of the Year, as well as over 70 awards and distinctions in European and US advertising festivals, such as EFFIE, Innovation Awards, Golden Drum, KTR, Mixx Awards, Golden Arrow and Magellan Awards.
Regular speaker at sectoral conferences, member of the IAB Programme Board. Distinguished by the Man of the Year title by Mixx Awards, also distinguished by the Man of Advertising title by the “Brief” magazine. His hobbies include theatre and painting, and he produced the recognized monodrama “Heavenly Father” (Ojciec Bóg).
